Couldn't tell you how excited we were to see the Black eyed pea restaurant. My wife and I have great memories dining at Black eyed peas in Texas years ago.We ordered the meatloaf green beans and red beans and rice. And of course, we had to order the colossal sized rolls with butter and honey. Service was fast and the food was absolutely heavenly! Good afternoon, I came here for lunch on July 3rd. The food was very good and plentiful. I had Fried green tomatoes and pot roast with Ice tea. Great service and atmosphere. The staff were readily available and the seating arrangement was comfortable.
Food was great! Service was awesome and overall you can't beat the country fried steak. Great place!
I got the buffalo wrap which was very good, spicy and crunchy. They give you a lot of fries and a honey for the table. My server was Stella who was very friendly. The spot itself is warmly lit, clean, with a lot of ivy on display. There’s a positive confluence and kind communication between the employees which in 2023 says a whole lot about it more likely having good management. This isn’t always noticeable but I was directly next to the kitchen.
I feel so SO bad because I’ve been really slacking to write a review for the absolutely wonderful service me and my family got when we dined here for a mini family reunion after my wedding back in January. Our server, Lucy, was such a sweetheart and so patient with my (older) extended family (that haven’t had much experience in the service industry if you know what I mean). The food was so f*cking delicious, the service obviously was on point, everything was so perfect. It was also my first time and I am now a huge huge fan. Lucy and the rest of the staff helped to make it such a beautiful and memorable moment for all of us. We haven’t had the opportunity to gather like this in decades and everyone made it truly special. Can’t thank them enough!! Excuse my rambling but, if you’re reading this as a potential customer, all you need to know is- food 11/10 and service- 10037374/10 !!
